Edgars Youth Programme (EYP) Pilot Project Turns A Success. Coaching Course- Module 1

The Edgars Youth Coaching Course- Module 1 formerly addressed as a pilot project bared fruits. As per the Course coordinator Saad Ahmed, the participants underwent an equivalent to the Federation of Uganda Football Associations- FUFA Beginners’ Course and therefore are eligible for the Level 1 Course.

This course ran from 3rd to 18th January 2019 at EYP offices in Mengo with various facilitators including CAF Instructor and FUFA’s Human Resource Capacity Building Manager Jackson Nyiima, EYP Instructors; Arthur Kyesimira, Segirinya Saidi, Lwanga Ronald, Peter Makanga and EYP Team Leader Edgar Watson.

“Assessment was done from the theory and practical trials assigned to the participants which registered positive results.” Said the then Technical Director, Peter Makanga during awarding ceremony early this week on Monday 4th March 2019 at EYP offices.

Fourteen participants were awarded certificates namely: Nakatanza Brian, Mukiibi Derrick, Mwesiga Isaac, Semambo Nasurdin, Kasozi John Bosco, Kwesiga Isaiah, Kakooza Muhammad Vianne, Otti Onyalla Moses, Ntegeka Isaac, Oyo Wambetta, Kamoga Ashraf, Mulindwa Marvin, Mutaawe Hamza and Nsubuga Emmanuel.

Edgars Youth Programme shall conduct Module 2 of the same course and dates communicated.
