Kampala Region 3rd Division League Kickoff Dates Re-scheduled
Edgars Football Club’s match earlier scheduled on Wednesday 24th October 2018 has been postponed to a date that will be communicated in due course. This is due to change in the league kickoff dates from 24th October to 4th November 2018 hence distorting the formerly published fixtures.
Kampala Region 3rd Division League competitions department on 12th October 2018 revealed the 2018/19 fixtures which indicated 24th October 2018 as the official league Kickoff date, though later on 22nd October 2018, Asuman Muwanga, the Kampala Regions FA Competitions manager communicated that due to failure for some participating clubs to meet the laid out standards for their home grounds, the league has been postponed.
Through his letter to all club C.E.Os of Kampala Region 3rd Division League, Asuman strongly warned the culprits: “Addition on this we are advising the clubs that failed to meet the required standards to work on their grounds very soon without fail. Take this as the last reminder.” “Kickoff of the league will be on 4th November 2018 and the revised fixture will be out soon.” He added.
Edgars Football Club players are in good shape and will play more buildup games, the latest with Terranova fc in Buziga this Friday 26th October 2018, kickoff at 9:00am as they await commencement of the league.
