For all vacancies, Applicants must be 23-30 years.

1. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT:

  • Liaise with CEO and senior administrators to handle administrative requests and queries from senior managers
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing, printing and photocopying of documents to management
  • Organising, scheduling and following up appointments of senior managers
  • Coordinating the preparation of events like luncheons and meetings as well as taking detailed minutes and archiving them accordingly
  • Prepares meeting materials and assists in development of power point presentations
  • Run EYP errands to post office as well as delivery and collection of organizational documents on behalf of EYP or an administrator
  • Manage calendar for Chief Executive Officer
  • Preparing regularly scheduled or required organizational reports
  • Develop and Maintain an appropriate EYP filing systems (Both electronic and hard copy)
  • Storing, organizing and managing office documents and files
  • Update, enforce and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Open, Sort and distribute correspondences from internal and external queries
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and follow up appointments for managers
  • He or she is responsible for fixing classes for education and empowerment of EYP staff
  • Act as a point of contact of internal administrators and staff
  • Managing and distributing information within the office
  • Managing office premises
  • Receiving clients/customers in office and forwarding their needs to the relevant department to follow up.
  • Manages and maintains a tidy office at all times
  • In charge of the office store and maintains a tidy store at all times and also ensures that all items in the store are clean
  • Purchases office requirements and all other items needed by the organization
  • In charge of issuing and receiving all organization inventory at all times and ensures that issued items are signed for and constantly verified on return.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned by the CEO, Team Leader or other superior administrators.

NECCESARY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

  • The Administrative Assistant should have a good presentation with competence in oral and written communication.
  • He or she should be capable of working long hours from morning to evening as per the organization schedule of activities
  • Should be capable of removing and returning organization items in store
  • Should have customer care skills
  • Should possess vast knowledge about the organization
  • Minimum qualification diploma in business administration or secretarial studies from a recognized university.

2. TECHNICAL MANAGER:

  • The Technical Manager shall Report to the Technical director
  • Shall assist the Technical Director in the Formulation of the Football Philosophy, Training Methods, Policies and Technical procedures
  • The Technical Manager shall be in charge of all field activities and supervise all activities on behalf of the Technical Director
  • Shall be required to coach
  • Shall do Technical Research and collect and compile technical data
  • Shall be the Educational officer of the organization and shall initiate, advocate and implement Coaches Education programs approved by the Technical director
  • Shall assist the Technical Director in Empowerment and Appraisal of Coaches
  • Establish and promote collaboration and complementarity among the coaches at EYP
  • Shall Uphold EYPs core values of Care, Love, Order, and Best of ability and Time
  • Shall perform any other task that might be assigned to him by his supervisor and/or the CEO
  • Shall work closely with school heads or field owners to address and advocate for EYP interests and ensure that EYP sessions run smoothly
  • Facilitates all EYP trainings with necessary equipment that are needed
  • Provides regular guidance on the coaches daily or routine session plans
  • The Technical Manager shall constantly assign coaches the responsibility of requesting, collecting and receiving training Equipment from the stores and the assigned coach shall assume full responsibility of the usage of equipment and shall ensure that equipment is returned to stores in a better condition and must report any missing or damaged item.

NECCESARY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR A TECHNICAL MANAGER:

  • The Technical Manager should possess a CAF C license or its equivalent
  • Possess experience in coaches and player development programme
  • Should have good communication, organization and presentation skills
  • Should demonstrate good leadership skills
  • Should possess previous experience in working with a similar organization or working in school setup
  • Football background and a good track record
  • Minimum diploma or equivalent from a recognized university

3. TECHNICAL OFFICER:

  • Shall be required to Coach and shall perform all duties of coaching players
  • Shall supervise coaches on behalf of the Technical Director
  • Shall Implement the EYP Football philosophy and all Technical regulations and Guidelines
  • Carry out research and Data collection
  • Shall guides the coaches on implementation of EYP set technical requirements or strategy
  • Shall work closely with the Technical Director and Technical Manager to appropriately allocate coaches according to the need and the coaches abilities
  • Shall do any other duty assigned to him by his superiors

NECCESARY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR A TECHNICAL OFFICER:

  • The Technical Officer should possess FUFA level 1 coaching qualification or its equivalent
  • Possess experience in working with children and youth
  • Should have good communication & organization skills
  • Should demonstrate good leadership skills
  • Football background and a good track record

4. COACHES:

  • Conducts all EYP training sessions assigned in line with the set technical strategy or plan
  • Shall Plan prior to conducting of the EYP day to day training sessions
  • Uphold the EYP core values
  • Execution of the set themes, topics or strategies
  • Strictly follows the EYP set training methods and procedure
  • Make periodic progress reports to continuously evaluate and monitor the EYP players.
  • Initiate/request for equipment necessary while executing their training
  • Execution of the EYP technical field standards(ensuring field is in the acceptable playable condition )
  • Ensure care and safety of EYP equipment and proper handling and usage
  • Executes EYP projects at hand when called upon
  • Fully attends all arranged EYP coaches training and development course
  • Reports to the Technical Manager and Technical Officer
  • Shall be required to assume responsibility once assigned to collect, monitor, and return training equipment from the organization store.
  • Shall have a duty to perform preventive and maintenance measure of EYP equipment.

NECCESARY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR A COACH:

  • The Coach should possess FUFA level 1 coaching qualification or its equivalent
  • Possess experience in working with children and youth
  • Should have good communication & organization skills
  • Should demonstrate good leadership skills
  • Football background and a good track record
  • Should demonstrate a passion for the game

5. FINANCE MANAGER (FM):

  • Shall report to the Finance Director
  • The Finance Manager shall be the organization Accountant
  • Shall perform all organization Taxation duties and ensure compliance with the applicable tax requirements
  • Prepares monthly reconciliations of all organization accounts
  • Supervises and receives reports from Finance officers
  • Appraises EYP suppliers, partners or clients and subcontractors and undertake financial assessments to ensure their viability as well as ensuring their timely billing
  • Oversee payroll services including processing monthly payroll, maintaining payroll records and authorization of issuance of monthly payments
  • Monitors income & expenses of the organization and provides early warning of difficulty and anticipated challenges
  • Corroborates with the Finance Director on the pricing of EYP Products and Services
  • Shall perform any other duty as assigned by the FD and CEO
  • Uphold the EYP core values at all times
  • Recommends EYP clients for a credit facility

NECCESARY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE FINANCE MANAGER:

  • The FM should have the ability to present financial information appropriately and with integrity
  • The FM should possess costing, Pricing and Budgeting knowledge
  • Should have a clean track record
  • Should have good reference
  • Should have a qualification in accounting or Finance minimum diploma from a recognized university
  • Degree will be added advantage

6. FINANCE AND BANKING OFFICER (FBO):

  • Shall report to the Finance Director and the Finance Manager
  • Shall be the Chief Cashier of the organization
  • The Finance and Banking officer shall Coordinate with other finance Officers, compile all funds collected from all training centres and Promptly bank all funds received to the respective organization bank accounts
  • The officer shall maintain order and accurate filing of all bank deposit slips
  • The officer shall constantly and accurately post all funds receipted in the organization accounting system
  • Shall maintain an accurate and up to date register of all participants at all EYP training venues
  • The officer shall constantly update the Finance Manager on the trend of payment by customers
  • Monitors all Receipt Books and maintain clean and orderly cash receipts
  • The officer shall perform off field tasks and adhere to all off field procedure
  • Uphold the EYP core values at all times
  • Follow up on all EYP debtors to make payments through phone calls and written reminders
  • Prepare accurate and timely Invoices to all EYP debtors
  • Prepare and issue statements of account to the EYP clients
  • Evaluates and Recommends customers before a credit service is awarded e.g. reviews the client payment history
  • Shall maintain an updated debtors ledger at all times

NECCESARY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE FINANCE AND BANKING OFFICER:

  • The FBO should demonstrate the ability to compile financial Data and information promptly
  • The FBO should be a person of high integrity
  • The FBO should demonstrate good customer care qualities
  • Should have a clean track record
  • Should have good reference
  • Should have a qualification in accounting or Finance minimum diploma

7. ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER (APO):

  • Shall report to the Finance Director and the Finance Manager
  • Shall maintain an updated record & ledger of all creditors and make appropriate follow up and arrangements to ensure that all bills are met promptly
  • Shall receive organization funds on behalf of the Chief Cashier (FBO)
  • The officer shall perform off field tasks and adhere to all off field procedure
  • Shall Record, Post and keep track of the day to day EYP expenses
  • Ensures that all Expenditure transactions are authorized and approved before releasing funds to the payee
  • Maintains a close link between the accounting records and the Expenditure budget
  • Prepares special Expenditure budget analyses and evaluation reports
  • Shall be the secretary of the budget committee
  • Shall be the payment cashier and shall be in charge of the petty cash and shall accordingly request for a petty cash funds

NECCESARY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER (APO):

  • The APO should demonstrate the ability to compile financial Data and information promptly
  • The APO should be a person of high integrity
  • The APO should demonstrate good customer care qualities
  • Should have a clean track record
  • Should have good reference
  • Should have a qualification in accounting or Finance

 

8. COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER (CM):

  • Shall report to the Communications Director
  • Shall organize and manage Press Conferences
  • Shall be in charge of print and television news
  • Shall Organize, Coordinate and Manage the media
  • Shall be responsible for editing news
  • Shall be spokesperson on delegation by the CD
  • Shall manage the Web Site and social Media aspects of the Organization
  • Performs Public Relations (PR) tasks including Corporate Social Responsibility
  • Should have a minimum of a diploma in journalism or communications

 

9. EVENT MANAGER (EM):

  • Shall report to the Communications Director
  • Shall be the event manager and shall perform all tasks to see that events are well managed
  • Shall Direct, Manage and Monitor the work/output of Photographers within the organization and external photographers
  • Minimum of a diploma from a recognized university.

 

10. MEDIA MANAGER (MM):

  • Shall report to the Communications Director
  • Shall be in charge of organization sales and Merchandise
  • Organizing promotional events such as press conferences
  • Shall perform marketing tasks for the organization
  • Shall be in charge of Brand Building for the organization
  • The MM shall be in charge of EYP sales and Branding and shall initiate media strategies to sell out EYP brand to the public
  • Shall be in charge of execution and delivery of service
  • Shall monitor the wants of customers
  • Minimum of a diploma with experience in marketing a degree will be an added advantage.

 

11. PHOTOGRAPHER:

  • Take pictures and video captions for all EYP trainings and all other activities
  • Edit pictures to suit the organization Needs and make videos
  • Make graphics for promotion purposes
  • Experience and a diploma in rated field will be an added advantage.
