Edgars Youth Programme, once every year, travels and participates in international competitions and this is seen to yield best results as good players and public figures have been developed through similar arrangements like Mugisa Albert who present day plays for SC Villa, Andrew Kabora NTV sports presenter, Mugulusi Ibrahim playing for SC Villa and Stephen Dese Mukwala playing for SC Vipers.
Edgars Youth Programme (EYP) hereby provides your child (aged 6 to 17 years) an open opportunity to travel and participate in soccer trips to London- England at a humble cost of $3900 for The London Cup Football Tournament (22nd July – 1st August 2019).

However, having done travels in the past, we expect the 2019 soccer trips to be extra ordinary with opportunities for the young players to get exposure.
Over the last 10 years EYP has participated in a number of International tournaments like the Schwan’s USA Cup (2011/2012/2013/2014/2015/2016/2017); Welsh International Super Cup (2009/2010/2011/2013/2014/2015); Keele Cup (2012), Gothia World Youth Cup (2008/2009), Norway Cup (2010); Nottingham International Cup (2016), New Balance International Cup 2017 and World Cup Youth Conference in Germany (2006) among others. “Being part of this tournament (The London Cup 2018) is a great step in talent development with opportunities for the young players to get exposure.” Said Mr. Edgar Watson, the Team Leader Edgars Youth Programme during his motivating speech at the ceremony. Unlike the past years, the travelling team was joined by 10 EYP players who train in Rwanda in 2018.
A team of 43 including players, coaches and team parents was officially flagged-off on 30th July 2018 by Chief Guest Mrs. Ejalu Patricia Bageine the Deputy Executive Director-Standards at Uganda National Bureau of Standards to their journey to participate in the London Cup Tournament slated for 1st to 12th August at Brunel University, West London- United Kingdom.
