Promising Talent Mayanja Saidi Scores Golden Goal to Enable Team Collect 3 Points.
It was a good end of first round matches in the Kampala Region League as Edgars Football Club carried along three points and one goal back home from Bweyogerere FC. Edgars FC created as many chances as possible from the start majoring in short passes and a few highballs plus crosses.
The high flow game went goalless at half time and lasted with similar scores to the 87th minute when new signing Omirambe Brian led the attack, laid an accurate pass into opponents’ box to find Mayanja’s golden touch that shook the net.
This was one of the games played today to close the league’s first round fixtures. Second round matches will commence on Wednesday 6th February 2019, Edgars FC opening with Katwe United at Muteesa II Stadium.
