Edgars Football Club (EFC) was initiated in 2007 by Edgars Youth Programme for the senior players who had gone through the structures and had the passion and desire to take on football as a profession career. Edgars Youth Programme also wanted to create a platform for the players to play and be part of any football related activities under the jurisdictions of Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA)
EFC currently competes in the Kampala Region Football Associations (Third Division)
