Our Own Olwa Brian Shines for Uganda U-17 in Morocco AFCON Preparations

At Edgars Youth Programme, we proudly celebrate one of our own, Olwa Brian, who continues to make his mark on the international stage. Currently in Morocco with Uganda’s U-17 national team for their AFCON preparations, Brian delivered a standout performance by scoring in the 45th minute during a 3–1 victory over Mozambique in a pre-tournament training match.

His goal came at a crucial moment, just before halftime, giving Uganda the momentum heading into the second half. It was a composed and confident finish exactly the kind of quality we have nurtured and witnessed in him throughout his journey at Edgars.

For us as an academy, this moment carries great pride and meaning. Seeing Brian represent Uganda on such a stage reflects the strength of our development pathway and our commitment to preparing players for elite competition. His performance in Morocco is not just a personal achievement, but a symbol of what Edgars Youth Programme stands for.
