Edgars Youth Programme’s Second Term Holiday Training Kicks Off with Enthusiasm Across Centers
The second term holiday training at Edgars Youth Programme (EYP) officially kicked off on 26th August 2024, bringing excitement and energy at all three training centers: Old Kampala Senior Secondary School, Namugongo Girls Primary School, and Christ the King High School-Bweya. The program has attracted a large number of eager young players, setting a vibrant tone for the weeks ahead.
As expected, the first week saw a strong turnout, and even more participants are anticipated in the coming days. The positive response is a confirmation to the growing confidence parents and guardians have in EYP’s structured programs, which focus on not only developing football skills but also instilling discipline, teamwork, and leadership in the youth.
“We are thrilled with the turnout in the first week,” said Joel Cornerious Kivumbi, adding that the numbers continue to grow as the training progresses. “We expect even more players as we move into the second week, and our coaches are ready to welcome all the new additions.”
