Edgars' Mayanja Summoned For U20 National Duty.

Uganda U20 National team is under residential training at FUFA Technical Centre – Njeru in preparation for the CECAFA tournament scheduled for 21st September to 5th October hosted in the Pearl of Africa.

Edgars Football Club attacking midfielder, Mayanja Saidi appeared among the summoned players who will hold the nation’s flag in the competition.

Mayanja Saidi, 20 years, had a good performance last season scoring 5 goals and creating 7 which led him on the Kampala Region Select team that played a build-up game with The Uganda Cranes.

The Team Team is led by Morley Byekwaso deputized by Hamuza Lutalo. Others on the Technical Team include; Kyesimira Arthur, former Edgars Football Club Head Coach as Fitness Trainer, Kiggundu Steven Goal Keeping Coach, Team Coordinator: Bashir Mutyaba, Team Doctor: Mable Kabatalindwa and Equipment Manager: Sam Mulondo.
