The Children’s League 2026: Back, bigger and better.

The Children’s League is a flagship annual event under the Edgars Youth Programme (EYP), created to bring together children from different EYP training grounds and school soccer clubs to compete, learn, and most importantly, enjoy the game of football. Each year, the league provides a safe, structured, and exciting environment where children experience football as it should be educational, competitive, and fun.

On Saturday, 31st January 2026, the EYP family will once again come together for The Children’s League 2026, hosted this year at the historic Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.

One Programme. Many Training Grounds. One Big Football Festival.

The Children’s League is a joyful meeting point for young players across all EYP centers. It is a time for children to express themselves, make friends, smile, and enjoy the game, while also showcasing the skills they have developed throughout the year.

The 2026 edition will feature the following age categories:

U5, U7, U9, U11, U13, U15 & U17

With a participation fee of UGX 50,000 per player, the league ensures inclusivity while maintaining EYP’s commitment to quality coaching, organization, and child-centered football.
