ACTIVITIES REVIVE AT EDGARS YOUTH PROGRAME
It has been over 22 months of Uganda battling with the vast effect of the COVID-19 pandemic which struck most industries of the economy, sports inclusive, leading lockdown of the State hence a standstill of all Edgars Youth Programme (EYP) activities from March 2019.
Edgars Youth Programme officially revived operations at the Head office on Monday 17th January 2022 open every Monday to Saturday from 8:30am to 5:30pm. Welcomed are all stakeholders and clients for any assistance.
On the other hand field activities opened up with Weekend training sessions at Makerere University Business School and Rubaga Girls Secondary School fields on Saturday 22nd January 2022. Updates on resumption of activity at other venues shall be communicated as they come by.
Aga Khan Education Services Uganda, Namirembe Parents, Marigolds Primary School and Cherubs Pre school Soccer clubs opened too with players excited to be playing again.
‘Currently, we are undertaking a number of tasks towards successful resumption such as evaluation of staff, refresher coaches’ sessions and engagement of field owners among. This aims at delivering better service.’ Said Mr. Edgar Watson, the Team Leader in his opening remarks.
